You can delete your govno.world account and the data associated with it at any time.

Option 1 β In-app (recommended)
Settings β Account β Delete Account β confirmation. Deletion is initiated and (as a rule) completed within the app.
Option 2 β Without the app (web request)
If the app has been uninstalled or is unavailable, submit a request:
- email [email protected] with the subject "Account deletion" from the address linked to your account (or include your username), or
- email [email protected] if you no longer have access to the linked address β we will then ask you to confirm the account is yours.
No separate web form is needed: mail to either address is a working way to request deletion, and it does not require the app.
We will verify your identity and carry out the deletion within the time limits set by applicable law.
What is deleted
Your account record, username, email association, your posts/comments/reactions, and device push tokens. Temporary deactivation is not deletion; we delete your data rather than simply disabling access.
What may be retained (and why)
Some data may be retained only where required by law or for safety reasons: for example, materials relating to CSAM cases (mandatory retention, see csae-runbook.md), and data needed to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations. Retention periods and legal bases are disclosed in the Privacy Policy Β§7.
